InHouse Law provides legal workflow, matter management, document management, AI-assisted drafting, legal research support, court tracking, collaboration, task management, and related software services.

InHouse Law is a technology platform. It is not a law firm.

InHouse Law does not provide legal advice, legal opinions, representation, advocacy, or legal services.

Use of the platform does not create an advocate-client, lawyer-client, solicitor-client, fiduciary, or professional advisory relationship between InHouse Law and any user.

Users are solely responsible for all legal, professional, strategic, and ethical decisions made using the platform.

Users must provide accurate account information and keep it updated.

Users are responsible for maintaining confidentiality of login credentials and for all activity under their accounts.

Organizations are responsible for managing access by their employees, contractors, consultants, and authorized users.

InHouse Law may suspend or restrict access if it reasonably suspects unauthorized use, misuse, fraud, security risk, or violation of these Terms.

Users are responsible for:

AI-generated outputs may contain inaccuracies, omissions, outdated law, incorrect citations, fabricated references, or unsuitable drafting.

Users must independently review and validate all AI-generated outputs before use.

InHouse Law does not guarantee that AI outputs are accurate, complete, current, legally valid, enforceable, court-ready, or appropriate for any specific matter.

Users remain solely responsible for professional judgment and final work product.

Users retain ownership of documents, matter data, client information, prompts, notes, and other content uploaded to or created within the platform.

Users grant InHouse Law a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, store, process, transmit, display, and use user content solely as necessary to provide, secure, support, and improve the services.

InHouse Law does not sell user content.

InHouse Law will use reasonable efforts to protect confidential information uploaded to the platform.

However, users acknowledge that no system can guarantee absolute confidentiality or security.

Users should not upload information they are not authorized to process or share through the platform.

Paid services may be offered on monthly, annual, usage-based, or one-time billing terms.

Fees, billing cycles, features, and subscription plans may be described on the website, invoice, order form, or platform.

Unless otherwise stated, fees are exclusive of applicable taxes, including GST.

Failure to pay applicable fees may result in suspension, downgrade, or termination of access.

Refunds, cancellations, and plan changes will be handled according to the applicable subscription terms or written agreement.

Use of third-party services may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

InHouse Law is not responsible for third-party services outside its reasonable control.

InHouse Law aims to provide reliable access to the platform but does not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or always-available service.

The platform may be unavailable due to maintenance, upgrades, outages, security incidents, infrastructure failures, third-party service failures, or events beyond our control.

The platform, software, source code, design, workflows, databases, trademarks, logos, branding, documentation, and technology are owned by InHouse Law or its licensors.

Users may not copy, modify, distribute, resell, sublicense, or create derivative works from the platform except as expressly permitted.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, InHouse Law shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, loss of data, loss of goodwill, business interruption, professional negligence claims, missed deadlines, or adverse legal outcomes.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, InHouse Law's aggregate liability for all claims shall not exceed the fees paid by the user to InHouse Law during the twelve months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

Users agree to indemnify and hold harmless InHouse Law, its directors, officers, employees, contractors, and affiliates from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from:

InHouse Law may suspend or terminate access if a user violates these Terms, creates security or legal risk, fails to pay fees, misuses the platform, or if required by law.

Users may stop using the platform at any time. Account closure and data deletion will be handled in accordance with the Privacy Policy and applicable law.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be posted on the website with a revised effective date.

Continued use of the platform after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India.

Subject to applicable law, courts located in Ranchi, Jharkhand shall have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the platform.
