Legal Matter Data and Confidential Information
Users may upload confidential, privileged, or sensitive legal documents and matter-related information. Users retain ownership of all documents, matter data, client information, and other content uploaded to the platform.
InHouse Law processes legal matter data only for the purpose of providing, securing, maintaining, supporting, and improving the platform, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
We do not claim ownership over user-uploaded legal documents or matter content.

Where AI features are used, uploaded content, prompts, and generated outputs may be processed by InHouse Law and/or its AI infrastructure providers solely to provide the requested AI-assisted functionality, subject to applicable safeguards and provider terms.
Unless expressly disclosed and consented to, InHouse Law will not use confidential legal matter documents to train public AI models.
How We Use Information

- provide AI-assisted drafting, summarization, research, extraction, and productivity features;

- monitor, secure, debug, and improve the platform;
- detect fraud, unauthorized access, misuse, or security incidents;

AI-Assisted Features
InHouse Law may provide AI-assisted features such as document drafting, summarization, legal research support, clause extraction, matter analysis, and workflow automation.
AI-generated outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or unsuitable for a particular legal matter. They may contain errors, omissions, or fabricated references.
Users are solely responsible for independently reviewing, verifying, editing, and approving all AI-generated outputs before relying on them, filing them, sending them to clients, submitting them to courts, or using them in professional work.
InHouse Law does not provide legal advice and does not replace the professional judgment of an advocate, lawyer, or legal professional.
Legal Basis and Consent
Where required under applicable law, including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, we process personal data based on user consent, contractual necessity, compliance with legal obligations, legitimate platform operations, security requirements, or other lawful grounds.
